West Bay Mechanical’s Directors, Project Managers, Superintendents, and Estimators have earned Gold Seal Certification from the Canadian Construction Association.

 

The CCA Gold Seal Certification Program is a national certification program. Certification is based on the candidate's education, experience and their ability to satisfy the rigorous standards of the Program.

 

The Gold Seal Certificate is a declaration that an individual’s skill and competence has been recognized by the construction industry across the country. It is also a statement regarding our team’s professionalism and commitment to construction management excellence.

Contributing to our community

West Bay Mechanical’s Directors, staff and crews take on leadership roles in BC’s professional mechanical and construction organizations and in our communities.

 

Since 1978, we have actively participated in the Canadian Home Builders Association, where Ralph served on the Board of their Renovations Division for 2 years. Ken, Ralph, Dean and Dave have all advised on provincial code committees. We also participate in the Vancouver Island Construction Association, the Mechanical Contractor’s Association, and the Chambers of Commerce in West Shore and Nanaimo. West Bay Mechanical is a long-standing member of the Better Business Bureau.

 

And we proudly sponsor a number of charity events, and sports teams including the Victoria Grizzlies, local junior teams, as well as cars at Western Speedway.
