Costco Wholesale Warehouse, Langford, B.C.

Total construction budget: $335,000.00

Working on the roof of the Costco building posed a number of challenges. To solve them, we worked with Vancouver Island Helicopter to lift and place a total of 15 roof top units carefully onto the roof curbs. Despite the challenges, we successfully completed this mechanical system according to Costco’s very tight schedule.

West Bay Mechanical provided plumbing and HVAC systems for the Costco Wholesale Warehouse.

Victoria Airport Victoria Airport

Total mechanical cost:  $1.7 million

West Bay Mechanical provided complete mechanical systems installation for the expansion of the Air Terminal Building and included new Departures and Arrivals facilities.  This project was completed in four phases.  Sadly, the attacks of September 11th took place approximately half way through the expansion.  As a result of that horrific event, design changes were implemented and our team was able to complete the project despite the extremely challenging security conditions.
